In 2021, Frith Hilton’s poetic journey began with the evocative phrase “Cremating of the old tangle,” shared on Twitter (now X). This ignited a two-month daily poetry ritual that captivated readers, coinciding with the birthdays of Jessica Andrea (1 May) and Hilton himself (23 May). Inspired by Taylor Swift’s Folklore album, his early poems, written under the pen name Forest Theo Nightswan, laid the foundation for The Frith Hilton Collection. His second collection featured a poem titled “Teacher,” honouring Swift’s influence, and hinted at a personal connection later echoed by her 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department.

From Aspiration to Achievement

Hilton’s publishing journey commenced in 2021 with a bold submission of a manuscript containing over ninety poems to Austin Macauley Publishers. When the deal fell through, he persisted, sharing poetry on X and releasing Forest Collection I, a compilation of 117 poems available for free download online without an imprint. In 2023, a pivotal connection with Mariam Rod, facilitated by Chantel Jeffries, transformed his path. Rod commissioned Hilton for a Valentine’s Day poetry release and provided crucial support to establish Frith Nightswan Enterprises. Under her creative guidance, he rebranded Forest Collection I as The Frith Hilton Collection and expanded it with Collections III, IV, and V. Collections III and V were dedicated to Rod, whilst Collection IV honoured Lily Grace Rothschild, daughter of Nicky and James Rothschild. Through Forest Crib Books, an imprint of Frith Nightswan Publishers, Hilton continues to publish his poetry.

Building Creative Connections

Hilton’s work fostered meaningful connections, beginning with a birthday tribute to Jessica Andrea that sparked a deep bond. Her friends, including Melanie Fontana and Ryan Potter, praised his lyrical depth, amplifying his reach within the vibrant RATTPACK community; fans of Andrea’s former spouse, Logic. These relationships enriched his poetry, blending personal narratives with universal emotions.
